I trained as a biologist which means that I ask lots of questions and enjoy the technical side of ceramics. After a career in bioscience research, teaching and e-learning development I now have time to learn to make pots.

 

I particularly enjoying throwing and all my pots are made on the wheel. They are functional and intended for use around the home. I am learning about glazing and am fascinated by the way different glazes and glaze materials interact in the kiln to create novel colours and textures.

I live in Oxford, UK with my husband and dogs. I'm lucky enough to have a small studio at the bottom of the garden. My pots are made to brighten a home and to be used. I hope you like them!
